Think you pay too much for gas?
Written by Dave Gould
Tuesday, 20 May 2008
DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY - The department of energy today listed the average price of regular gas at $4.02 per gallon in the United States. High, yes. BUT Compare this with Europe.
Price of gas in Europe
United Kingdom
France
Germany
Italy
Belgium
Netherlands
$8.28
$8.32
$8.48
$8.58
$8.68
$9.52

However, be it noted those dollar amounts are raw conversions not taking into account how much the dollar has fallen against the Euro. So an American who wishes to drive a car in London will actually be paying $12.96 per gallon!

So as my grandmother used to say, "Quitcherbitchn"
