BOSTON-U.S. Senate candidate Jeff Beatty today released a new radio advertisement blasting Sen. John Kerry for accepting more than $19 million in contributions from Wall Street giants, then voting for nearly a trillion dollars in taxpayer funded bailouts for those same companies.

The ad explains the true cost of the Washington bailout - which Beatty opposed - for each American family, campaign officials say.

"Do you have an extra $7,000 in your family budget just laying around?" Beatty asks in the commercial. "Well, you better have. Because John Kerry just voted to whack your family $7,000 to bail out his financial wheeler-dealer cronies.

"I bet you didn't know that John Kerry accepted $19 million in Wall Street special interest money," the ad continues. "I bet you didn't know John Kerry sold us out to the money changers on Wall Street for trips and campaign cash. "And I bet you didn't know that John Kerry used his Senate office to protect $2 million in his family's AIG stock."

A former FBI and CIA agent and founder of a nationally respected anti-terrorism consulting business, Beatty has condemned Kerry for accepting millions from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG and other financial giants, then voting to bail out those same companies with taxpayer dollars.

"For 24 years, John Kerry put the special interests ahead of his constituents, taking millions from Wall Street giants and Washington lobbyists," Beatty said. "And when Wall Street came knocking a few weeks ago, John Kerry paid his debt in full, selling out Massachusetts residents in order to pay back the Wall Street titans who have funded his political ambitions for the past two decades.

"It's time for Massachusetts voters to ask themselves: 'Can I really afford six more years of John Kerry?'" Beatty continued. "'Can I afford to have Sen. 'Cash and Kerry' bailing out his millionaire Wall Street friends with my hard-earned money? And can I afford to waste my vote on a man who spends more time campaigning for a cabinet seat than doing the job we hired him to do?'"

The new Beatty ad launches as the two candidates prepare to square off in the first of two debates. NECN will televise the first debate live tonight at 8 p.m., with a radio debate scheduled for 1 p.m. October 27 on WTKK 96.9 FM.

Below is the full transcript of the radio advertisement:

"I'm Jeff Beatty and I approve this message

Hi I'm Jeff Beatty and I'm running against John Kerry for United States Senate
Do you have an extra seven thousand dollars in your family budget just laying around?
Well you better have, because John Kerry just voted to whack your family seven thousand dollars to bail out his financial wheeler dealer cronies.

I bet you didn't know that John Kerry accepted 19 million dollars in wall street special interest money, I bet you didn't know that John Kerry sold us out to the money changers on Wall Street for trips and campaign cash and I bet you didn't know that John Kerry used his Senate office to protect 2 million dollars in his families AIG stock.

We've had enough of that kind of politics, he's been there 24 years and we all want change. So I'm asking you to vote for me, Jeff Beatty for United States Senate and I've just given you 7,000 reasons why."
