School Committee member Tom Clark lambasted by Citizen over rude comments

Also New rule change limits public participation

NEW BEDFORD, MA - Mayor Scott Lang, and a small cadre of School Committee members including Tom Clark and Jill Ussack, who are upset over the continued and very public grilling of his administration's handling of issues regarding continuing contamination problems at New Bedford Schools; has voted to limit all citizens ability to address the School Committee. The new rule would limit all citizen input to 2 minutes per person. Citizen time would be limited to a maximum of 10 minutes. One result of this vote, prompted Wasted Away member, Evan Rousseau to lash out at the school committee for their complete lack of concern and potential breaking of laws. During one particularly poignant moment, as Mr. Rousseau was in tears, Tom Clark was captured on film laughing and making rude remarks about Mr. Rousseau's commentary. Mr. Clark further went on to explain to Mr. Rousseau that such outburst would get him arrested if this were held anywhere else.

Elected School Committee person Attorney Thomas Clark, first let me start off by saying your total disregard for the laws, rules, regulations, safety, health and welfare of students teachers and other employees of the New Bedford School Administration is totally inept and today your elections and your role on the elected New Bedford School committee has been nothing more than a nickel and dime con-game where you and many of your other colleagues assumes that most members of the public are both naive and stupid. You are totally wrong on both accounts.

Secondly just as you have, I had great parents, and you are not anyone's father, boss, direct supervisor, mentor or advisor, surely not mine.

You have been elected less than two years, and neither you, Superintendent Bonner or any member of the elected school Committee members gives a tinker's damn about the health and welfare of students, teachers or the unhealthy and unsafe Environmental atmosphere and well being of the students either at Keith, New Bedford High, Pulaski Elementary School or any other school. Not one word or illustration about the health needs of students, teachers or other school personal was mentioned or written about in Superintendent's Bonner's District Plan. I guess Dr. Bonner has her head stuck in the sand, and has totally tried to ignore this problem.

You and your Elected School Committee colleagues public records and the School Committee records will indicate that your tenure bears the facts and "CREDIBLE EVIDENCE" of all of your actions and behavior that all of the Elected School Committee persons have tried to hide, cover up and conceal the dangers of the Environmental Contamination, health needs /implications and concerns of any student, faculty, parent, neighbor or citizen within the New Bedford School system who faces these dangerous health related Environmental Contamination issues.

Your idle threat of jail for exercising rights that are a part of the American fabric, and character means nothing to me. As a Lawyer, I am sure you have never tried a case in Federal Court or done any work at the United States Supreme Court. As a non-lawyer; I have. I have personally prepared a "WRIT OF CERT" at the United States Supreme Court. Further I have personally, at the United States Supreme Court, tried a 14 day trial in Federal Court at the First Circuit Federal Court against the Bechtel Corp, the builders of the Big Dig, and also practiced as a non-lawyer before the United States First Circuit Appeals Court. Attorney Clark, have you ever set foot in a Federal Court or practiced before the United States Supreme Court? You may verify these facts simply by checking the archives at the Standard Times. I will never compromise the rights, neither my responsibilities to my fellow citizens, human being and especially children who are defenseless and at the will of corrupt and cowardly politicians who assumes that they have to violate citizens rights simply because they are an elected official. Your lies about wanting to protect children rights as they receive a good education are just that, lies and deception. So any time you choose to have me arrested for what you think that you have the power to do, then be my guest, it will not be the first time and neither will it be the last.

By the way, Attorney Clark, my deceased father was an attorney and my eldest sister is a retired Federal Jurist. There is nothing that you could possibly teach me that my family members have not already taught me.

It was interesting to observe that on film and on YouTube, that when Dr. Wendy Heiger Bernays an expert on Environmental Contamination addressed the School Committee , it is a travesty that neither you, nor Superintendent Bonner or any off your colleagues had one question concerning this very important very dangerous Health & Environmental Contamination and related issues, which have a direct negative impact on the learning ability of children at Keith, New Bedford High, Pulaski and all the children who attend these schools and live around them. Further, it is ashame that the children and their families cannot count on their elected representatives to stand on their behalf and protect their Health and Environmental interests.

The other glaring Facts & Credible Evidence is that Mayor Lang speaks for all of you with the exception of Jack Nobrega.

By the way the lies that all of you presented to the public about Dr. Bonner's past performance in Hamden, Connecticut, was just that; Lies and Deception. We have the entire package and investigative reports from Hamden that one of the former School Committee people just left behind. It was hand delivered to me, with the personal information and background investigation done on all the former Superintendents candidates by the School Committee's Investigator Robert Jones.

Mayor Lang have immediately taught all of you the Plantation Political "GAME", however you are not as good at it as you think you are. Dr. Bonner maybe the plantation overseer that the School Committee have chosen, but many of us flatly refuse to be on anyone's 21st century plantation, including Dr. Portia Bonner's.

School Committeeman and Lawyer Tom Clark, you may have a total disregard for citizens rights and responsibilities, and you are very arrogant and pious and think that you are above and beyond the average citizen. You obviously think that you are above and better than the average citizen, however you are what you are a "GAME" playing deceptive, cunning and dishonest politician, that thinks New Bedford is little more than a sea of fools.

Your laughter that was caught on film when Evan Rousseau was speaking about the health and fate of Brian Woolly, is simply despicable. You in your lifetime will never ever fight the fight with dignity, decency and honor, for children's teachers and other school officials health and safety within the New Bedford School system, and if it were not for men like Brian Woolly and "WASTED AWAY", fighting for Environmental Justice, children, students, teaches, parents and citizens alike, especially at Keith, New Bedford High, Paul Walsh field, teachers, school officials, citizens, neighbors and parents would have been left in the dark, with devious politicians trying to lie their way with secrecy and deception. Brian Woolly's name is on Keith and well deserved. When you and the sneering School Committee disrespect Brian, you disrespects all of us. There are no news records showing you and at least four of your fellow elected school committee colleagues concerns or involvement in the Environmental Issues connected to any of these contaminated schools. However it is not to late. You, Attorney Tom Clark, don't even give the situation lip service, and you are critical of those who will continue to fight the good fight and fight we will.

You should try and at least honor the "OATH OF OFFICE", that you swore to when you were elected.

"WASTED AWAY", is not going to go away, no matter what ill conceived rules that you, the Mayor and this bunch of elected school officials may try to come up with to negate public input and participation.

I am sure your parents taught you that respect is earned.

I am neither your servant, slave or your boy, or any of those other adjectives that you might use to describe me. I realize your election to the school Committee places you in a King on a throne role, but I would suggest that you check out the job description for public servant.

Don't worry, Ken Pittman the afternoon talk show host at WBSM, will cover for you as he did today, by letting a Fairhaven, Massachusetts resident speak twice. Salah Mateos spoke about something and lied about things that he does not have a clue about in New Bedford, including Dr. Bonner's background. Salah cannot document any involvement in any issues connected to any Environmental issues, or any Environmental issues either in New Bedford or the Town of Fairhaven. Ken sometime like to play the spook who sits by the door game, when he in fact don't have a clue as to the background of the spook he is talking to. After all Ken is the smartest man on the South Coast.

Salah also often complained to Evan Rousseau on Evan's Show, about how bad of a moderator Ken Pittman was. Hiprocracy and deception runs in all ethnic groups and backgrounds. Now Salah and Ken are kissing cousins.
