NEW BEDFORD, MA — On January 6th, 2009, the New Bedford City Council met to choose their chairperson for the year. As reported by the other media outlets Councilor John Saunders was the appointee. I say the appointee as there was no public discussion, just a mediocre coronation. As Councilor Saunders delivered his “Oh thank you what a shock and a surprise pre-written speech”, he was quite clear with regard to how he intended to cooperate with our current dictator, King...I mean Mayor Snot Lang.... Who disagrees?
