Roberto Lugo-Gallardo NEW BEDFORD, MA - On Saturday, March 31, 2007 Det Christopher Cotter received information from an informant that a Roberto Lugo-Gallardo was at 356 Mount Pleasant St. Dets C. Cotter, A. Fonseca and G. Fortes proceeded to this location and placed him under arrest. This male had an active warrant for “Rape of Child with Force and Indecent A&B on a Child under 14” Det Cotter was also aware that this male was wanted by the State of Georgia for Felony Sexual Battery on a Minor and they were willing to extradite. This was outstanding work by Dets Cotter, Fortes and Fonseca in getting an alleged sexual predator off the streets of New Bedford.
