Hear the Angels Sing NEW BEDFORD, MA - For some time, relations between the current New Bedford City Council and Mayor Scott Lang have been a bit frosty. Neither side can understand why the other just won't cooperate with their private agendas. Secretly it has been whispered that the Mayor is looking for visual ways to let the Council know he is the boss without actually saying it. Like putting his office on the floor above the councils. Scott's wife Gig, has been doing a superb job of displaying the artistic talents of New Bedford residents throughout city hall. It is even rumored she helped pick the cool new colors in the Mayor's office. It is no secret the City Council chamber is a bit drab and long in the decorative tooth. In an effort to help Gig pick a new artistic scheme for the council chambers and let the council know her Bo is boss, we offer up a classical suggestion.

Well, the Patrick's staff are allowed to do the same thing if I'm not mistaken---and the Boston media I think blamed Patrick's wife a little unfairly.
