Leo is digging for 30 pieces of silver Print E-mail

Judas LeoNEW BEDFORD, MA - As usual, our esteemed New Bedford Council President opens his mouth on the recent issue regarding illegal beach access signs on Fort Taber Beach and out flows uninformed stupidity colored in all the flavors a 1960's LSD user could see and feel. Having the employment skills of George Jetson, who also presses a button to move sprockets he supplements his income by pretending to be smart enough to be a city councilor, but doesn't realize he is just being manipulated by the various hands up his back. Knowing that his good fortune can't last forever, he pads his retirement income by digging for gold on the Fort Taber Beach and defending the “special interests” from Mattapoisett and Dartmouth. Keep digging Leo, I'm sure there are thirty pieces of silver to be found in that beach.

I have read the last three.....or is that two? I guess it's three, really is confusing though since the only corrections is a capitalization of E.........anyhow.

I can't seem to make sense of what you're writing John. One response you seem to be castigating Councilor Pimental, and the next response is defending him.

Also please, could you explain the reference to people living on Clarks Cove and the vested interestyou refer to.
See, because I live on Clarks Cove, and being the initiator of the latest round of moorings/pollution discussion, I don't know what it is you're getting at.

Personally, I would like to see two things.
1) Controlled development and growth on Clarks Cove, not a race for revenue generation. With real estate marketed as potential marina's and multiple deep water moorings. Along with input and discussion with those that would be directly affected, and those interested in protecting a very valuable environmental gem.
2) If there is to be development, or new moorings, consideration of pollution and the effect those moorings and pollution is going to have on the beaches on one side of the Cove, and the beachfronts on my side of the Cove. Never mind how do people get to their moorings, and what happens if a boat should break from it's mooring, crash onto the hurricane barrier, and spill 150 gallons of fuel into the waters of Clarks Cove.
I don't want to find out in five or ten years some toxins were stirred up and my kids, my family, neighbors and friends, or anyone else have been swimming and playing in it.

That is this resident of Clarks Cove's interest, what interest are you eluding to?

Correcting the last entry.

Have you all forgotten about the Beach Houses and the suspected "Lead Paint" issue?

Here we are in April yet again and now work has been done?

Or - Have they been miraculously repaired without anyone's knowledge?
Psst!

Why does it take an act of the State Legislature or a SCANDAL to get anything important done in this City?

Oops! I forgot...

Sorry!

Psst!

Could it be that Leo Pimental is stumping for the new Mayor?
Just when do we stop calling Scott Lang the new mayor?
Could it be that Leo is just a bit slow on the uptake?
Could it be that Leo just hasn't been sliced into that pie yet?

Could it be that you folk are so eager to get to the bottom of this fiasco, knowing where it all leads, that you are willing to sacrifice the possibly one honest person, knowing that possibly he was left out of this entire back room deal?

Sad that one of the hardest working city councilors ever would be the brunt of your ill placed jokes considering all the other players who are easily identified and marked, not to mention those who live in the Clark's Cove areas who also have a very vested interest in how this turns out.

The most disgusting thing about this is that you know where it came from and where it is leading and yet, you allow good fair and unsuspecting people to get mired in the muck of it all.

If you know it - Tell it - and stop the pussy footing around!

Or go silently into that dark night...
